The East Meadow School District was excited to welcome new staff and faculty members at East Meadow High School and the Salisbury School during their annual new teacher orientation from Aug. 30-31.
Assistant Superintendent for Personnel and Administration Mr. Anthony Russo and Superintendent of Schools Mr. Kenneth Rosner greeted the group to open the day of meetings and welcomes. Additionally, Mr. Russo explained the policies and procedures of the district.
Director of Social Studies & 21st Century Learning, Jim Mendonis, and Director of Literacy and Funded Programs, Frank Lukasik, led a bus tour of the district’s nine buildings. The duo educated the group about each building while sharing the district’s history and pointing out several famous places around East Meadow.
The district warmly welcomes their newest staff members and wishes them best of luck.
