W.T. Clarke High School capped off Spirit Week with their annual homecoming celebration on Oct. 21.
The homecoming parade was cancelled due to inclement weather, but plenty of spectators were in attendance for the Rams’ varsity football game against the Kennedy Cougars. The bleachers were filled with school administrators, board members, faculty, students, parents and district residents as they cheered on the Rams.
The theme for this year’s floats was “Disney movies,” and they are currently on display at the high school’s entrance. Halftime festivities featured a performance from the marching band and the cheerleaders, along with recognition of W.T. Clarke High School’s Class of 1968.
The Rams’ varsity football team played a hard-fought game, but they lost to the Kennedy Cougars with a final score of 39-28. The East Meadow School District would like to thank all of the supporters, fellow students and administrators for showing their support at the homecoming game and halftime celebration.
