Students, teachers and district administrators gathered at W.T. Clarke High School to unveil a brand-new hallway mural on Oct. 27.
The mural titled, “Dreaming is Free,” was created by students in Clarke’s National Art Honor Society. Art teachers Ms. Jeannene Arcuri and Ms. Marlena Dentrone explained that teachers and students had discussed ideas for this project during the past two years. They also said that this mural aims to create positivity throughout the school and to promote the idea that anything is possible. The mural incorporates numerous elements such as sunsets, clouds, butterflies, nature and outer space.
The East Meadow School District commends everyone who contributed to this beautiful mural.
