On Nov. 16, second graders at Meadowbrook Elementary School in East Meadow went back in time to Ancient Greece as part of their CKLA Greek Celebration.
Students and teachers participated in several activities throughout the school as they learned about the traditions of Greek culture and Greek mythology. From Olympic Games to crafting Greek crowns and drawing pictures of Greek gods and goddesses, students had plenty of activities to choose from.
