On Jan. 12, dinosaur fossils filled the gymnasium at Meadowbrook Elementary School in East Meadow during the school’s Dinosaurs Rock assembly.
Dinosaurs Rock member Bradley Chernoff held a presentation in which he shared a collection of fossils, bones and eggs of prehistoric animals. For more than 20 years, Dinosaurs Rock has brought museum-like exhibits to schools throughout the tri-state area.
The students held dinosaur eggs, viewed dinosaur heads and compared their body size to the leg bone of a dinosaur.
