Last year, Mr. Spinnato served as the assistant superintendent for curriculum and technology in the Elmont Union Free School District.
“I come from a family of educators,” Mr. Spinnato said. “Both of my parents were educators for many years, and I followed my dad’s footsteps as a high school science teacher.”
Having a strong background in K-12 school districts, Mr. Spinnato said that his past experiences has given him a better understanding of what to expect in a large school district like East Meadow.
“Right now, I’m really looking forward to meeting all of the faculty and staff members at each building in the district,” Mr. Spinnato said. “We have an amazing administrative team here in East Meadow and I’m really excited to work with them.”

The district commends Mr. Spinnato on his new position and looks forward to his service in the East Meadow school community.
