On March 20, the W.T. Clarke High School Select Chorale collaborated with the Hofstra University Chamber Choir, conducted by Dr. David Fryling, for an immersive workshop and culminating concert.
The Select Chorale worked tirelessly to prepare a high-level program in their daily school rehearsals with their director, Ms. Kaitlin Melker, as well as on several occasions with Dr. Fryling. W.T. Clarke hosted the Hofstra Chamber Choir for the first of many stops on their annual Northeast American tour. During the visit, both groups had the chance to interact, socialize, and rehearse together. At the concert, each ensemble performed choral programs, ending with a combined choir finale.
Clarke’s students gained a wealth of inspiration from their experience singing among the collegiate singers and under the baton of the esteemed Dr. Fryling.
