Art students from East Meadow High School and W.T. Clarke High School recently participated in a variety of hands-on workshops hosted by Nassau Community College.
Students studying fashion design/illustration, creative crafts and photography worked with college professors and their students for a day. Areas of focus included garment design, darkroom photography and ceramic Raku firing. Students enjoyed creating unique works of art in addition to spending the day on campus.
