Woodland Middle School sixth graders compete in conservation contest

Sixth graders at Woodland Middle School in East Meadow recently participated in the PSEG Energy Conservation Contest. 

The district is proud to announce that Woodland’s four groups placed in the top 30 as finalists. From that four, Woodland had two groups win (end up in the top 10). They were awarded certificates and the winners, Amazon gift cards. More than 3,000 students across Nassau County and the Rockaways participated in this contest.
