On Dec. 16, students of all ages at George McVey Elementary School in East Meadow treated themselves to some tasty treats during the school’s Cookiefest.
Throughout the day, classes in each grade level gathered in the cafeteria where they crafted their own gingerbread cookies. Coordinated by McVey’s PTA, students carefully decorated their cookies with colorful sprinkles, icing and candy canes.
