Students reading to their younger peers.

The K Kids Club at Meadowbrook Elementary School in East Meadow organized several activities to celebrate P.S. I Love You Day on Feb. 14.

P.S. I Love You Day is a day to spread love, decrease bullying and promote mental health awareness. Students and staff wore purple that day, which promotes kindness and a welcoming environment, and educates others that mental health is just as important as physical health.

Meadowbrook’s K Kids Club read stories to their younger peers, and they helped to “chalk the walk” on the morning of Valentine’s Day to welcome all students to school.
