On March 21, students at Barnum Woods Elementary School in East Meadow celebrated literature during Guest Reader Day.
In this culminating activity, parents visited classrooms throughout the day to read stories to students. Some of the guest readers also allowed students to read parts of their stories. Additionally, the guest readers brought students snacks and treats as part of the celebration.
