This year, Barnum Woods Elementary School’s Student Council in East Meadow introduced a new twist on their traditional “Pie Day” event with the exciting “Bobcat Bob.”
On April 4, teachers competed to “bob” for letters submerged in a pie, using only their mouths to arrange the letters and spell out the school’s mascot, Bobcat. Classes that raised the most money at each grade level enjoyed VIP seating to watch their teachers participate in this fun and messy activity from the front row.
The event not only provided entertainment, but most importantly, it raised funds for East Meadow High School scholarships and supported the Barnum Woods community.
