On Nov. 7, East Meadow High School held its first electives fair for students in grades 9-11.
The fair provided a great opportunity for students to become familiar with all the different elective course offerings at the high school. Students were able to hear from teachers and other students currently in the courses. Electives were represented from most of the school’s departments, which included robotics, forensics, trial law, sports in society, music production, journalism, foundations of education, college level earth science, AP Environmental, AP Statistics, AP Calculus and film studies, among others.
The electives fair was a great success, and the high school hopes to build upon this event in the coming years.
