The East Meadow School District recently was proud to host the opening of the district’s annual art show, which took place at the Leon J. Campo Salisbury Center. The show, which will be on display through June, features artistic work from students in grades K-12 from every school in the district, with over 135 new pieces on display. In addition, East Meadow High School’s string ensemble, directed by Ms. Brittany Dagro, provided music during the reception.
“We are so happy to share the amazing talents of our art students in grades K-12,” said Director of Music and Art Kelly Nixon. “The dedication of our students and staff to the visual arts here in East meadow is evident in all that they do. Bravo to all who were showcased at this very special exhibit!”
The district congratulates the teachers, young artists and musicians on a job well done.
