Mrs. O'Neill/Mrs. Novellano's fifth graders and Ms. Arcese's kindergarten students paired up with their Book Buddies this week. Using Book Buddies is an excellent way to address the learning needs of both younger and older students. The cross-age partnership improves student reading skills and socialization skills. It also provides a safe and supportive environment for students to practice their fluency skills.
