In CKLA Mrs. Butler's first grade class and Ms. Keller's fifth grade have been learning about the fundamental features of the Early American Civilizations, including farming. To celebrate their learning, the classes came together to take a trip to Machu Picchu and take a closer look at the llamas that helped the civilizations adapt and thrive. With their buddies, partners shared their knowledge and discussed how the llamas were beneficial to the Inca civilization, wrote about their discussions, and made their very own Incan llamas!
