MS. RIVERA'S AMAZING CEREAL BOX BOOK PROJECTS! Students proudly presented their creative "One and Only Ivan" cereal box projects to their classmates in Ms. Rivera's fourth grade class today. This assignment was a fun and imaginative way to showcase the students' understanding of the beloved novel. Each student transformed a cereal box into a unique visual representation of the story, incorporating key themes, characters, and moments from the book. During their presentations, students shared the inspiration behind their designs, explaining how they captured the essence of the story and the characters, while highlighting the lessons they had learned. The project not only illustrates their artistic talents but also their deep connection to the book’s messages of friendship, courage, and hope.

Mrs. Goodson's 3rd grade class embarked on an exciting virtual field trip to Ancient Rome to explore the wonders of the Roman civilization. During this immersive experience, students delved into key aspects of Roman life by "taking off" on a plane and "landing" in Ancient Rome! As part of their CKLA lesson, they practiced the ELA skill of identifying the main idea and key details, enhancing their comprehension of both historical content and reading strategies. This exciting trip provided a unique opportunity for students to engage with history while strengthening their literacy skills in a fun and interactive way.
