In a thrilling match, East Meadow Boys’ Varsity soccer emerged victorious against Plainview JFK, securing a 4-3 victory. With this triumph, they clinched the AAA Nassau County championship, marking a historic milestone as the first Nassau County champions in the school's history. Raymond McLeod was the standout player, breaking open the game with a spectacular header, assisted by Evan Weinstein. Robert Derwin also made significant contributions, scoring both an unassisted goal and another beautiful header which was assisted by Esteban Canales Moreno. Dylan Wauchope added to the scoreboard with a well-executed penalty kick. Jack DeVoti's stellar performance as the goalkeeper was crucial, while the defense, led by Andrew Velasquez, Alex Nicolaou, Roderick Rodriguez, and Jose Flores, did an excellent job of limiting the Hawks' chances. This victory was the result of a true team effort.
