PARP ran from March 4th through March 15th. McVey’s theme this year was “Reading is Out of this World!”. To celebrate PARP, and to encourage families to read together, students will be involved in many fun literary activities (e.g., using a flashlight and reading in the dark) and wearing literacy themed clothing (e.g., a spaced themed shirt to “Launch into Literacy” and dressing as our favorite literary characters). The culminating activity was Barnes and Nobles Night, where our families gathered to meet up with teachers and enjoy several performances.
