Meadowbrook Elementary

Fourth Graders at Meadowbrook Elementary successfully completed Unit 1 of CKLA in October.  All students wrote their own Personal Narrative which included sensory details, transition words, and dialogue. To celebrate their writing and published narratives, all 3 classes had a “Glow Party”. Students read each other’s narratives while using glow sticks. All students left each other a “glowing” comment on a post-it, a positive note about something that was well done within the narrative. There were special visitors that included Mrs. Lasher, Mrs. Broxmeyer, Mrs. Lashin, Mrs. Betz, and Mr. Lukasik. It was a productive and fun afternoon!
