Students in kindergarten through second grade visited our very own "Pumpkin Patch" in the Meadowbrook Garden to pick their pumpkins. Thank you to our PTA for coordinating this activity and Pat's Farms for donating the pumpkins! 💙🎃💛@emeadowschools





2nd grade students enjoyed learning about ancient civilizations in India and China. Everyone had a fun afternoon writing Chinese characters and making a Rangoli craft. @emeadowschools

In CKLA, we learned about germs and the importance of washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water. We used glitter to represent the germs, and the students found out how difficult it was to get the germs (glitter) off without washing their hands with soap and water. 🦠🤔

Ona Gritz, author of August or Forever visited the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classes at Meadowbrook Elementary School. Students listened to her read the first chapter, ask questions and participate in a writing activity. @emeadowschools 😁💙💛📖

Our 5th grade students are authors! ELA students explored the story behind their names, weaving together research & personal reflection. They selected graphics to complement their narratives & created a meaningful graphic essay that showcased their unique identity. 📝






Our kindergarten students put lots of work & love into creating October bulletin boards for our school community to enjoy! We are very proud! 💙💛




After reading the stories of Paul Bunyan, Pecos Bill, Casey Jones, and John Henry, second graders enjoyed a special visit from these tall tale heroes.@emeadowschools 💙😊👍💛
