On Oct. 31, students, faculty and staff members at Parkway Elementary School in East Meadow dressed up as their favorite costumed characters during the school’s annual Halloween parade.
Parents and guardians lined up to watch students parade around the front of the school grounds to Halloween-themed and popular music songs. The sun shined bright on the marchers, whose costumes ranged from superheroes, Disney characters, animals, princesses and more.
After the parade, Parkway held a costume contest for the best-dressed fifth graders.
