On Feb. 28, professional actress Rosanne Sorrentino visited Woodland Middle School students in East Meadow during their final rehearsal of “Annie Jr.”
Ms. Sorrentino played the role of Annie in the third national tour of the production from 1980-1981, and she played the role of Pepper in the original film adaptation. Ms. Sorrentino gave the students advice about performing and shared stories of her theater experience over the years.
The East Meadow School District thanks Ms. Sorrentino for providing support and encouragement to the entire cast and crew before a whirlwind of weekend performances.
