W.T. Clarke eighth graders take the next step to high school

On June 24, eighth graders at W.T. Clarke Middle School in East Meadow were proud to take the next step towards high school during their moving-up ceremony at the school’s football field.

Members of the Board of Education and administration were on hand to applaud this milestone in the students’ academic career. Superintendent of Schools Kenneth Rosner, Principal Elizabeth Dowling, and Assistant Principal Linda Lynch addressed the students with words of encouragement.

Throughout the ceremony, Mrs. Dowling and Mr. Rosner recognized students with several academic awards. The district looks forward to the journeys of these students and wishes them luck and success at W.T. Clarke High School.
