The girls’ varsity soccer team improved their record to 8-1 after a big win over Glen Cove 6-0. Goalie Jennah Farooki had a shutout, while 8th grader Charli Tesoriere had a hatrick. Rachel Nasshorn had 2 goals, and 3 assists, Ella Giordano had 1 goal, Zoe Pedicini & Kaylee Pirozzi had 1 assist each. Great defensive performance by Casey Henry, Peyton Chester & Cameron Gilmor. The girls play at home Monday at 5 PM against Hicksville, come out and support!
The boys JV soccer team had a nice 5-0 victory over Great Neck South yesterday. It was a strong team effort led by a pair of goals by Issac Costa, a pair of goals from Oscar Gomez, and a goal from Matt O’Leary. Good luck to the JV Jets as they take on MacArthur this Saturday.

At the first Expanding Pride in Israeli Culture (EPIC) club meeting of the year our students got to know each other a bit better with a great ice breaker that Rabbi Sammy of the Jewish Student Union taught them about.
EMHS students attended the Annual Club and Activities Fair on Friday, September 20. There were over 50 clubs and activities represented. Students are highly encouraged to be a part of the EMHS Community.

The girls were down 1-0 in the first quarter but that didn't stop them from making a comeback and scoring two goals to make it 2-1. Goals scored by Samantha Platkin with an assist by Sakeena Raza. Boys Golf defeated Mineola Monday by a score of 9-0. Iwo Czerkawski shot a 1 under par 35, Eli Gilkey shot 40, and Jackson Reger shot 39 to lead the Jets. The Jets take on Oceanside today at Eisenhower Park.

A College Mini Fair was held at East Meadow High School on September 12th. This event featured 40 colleges and provided an opportunity for students to engage with college representatives and gather important information.

The team’s combined offensive and defensive efforts ensured a well-rounded win.
