The ENL ambassadors sponsored an event on October 9 for the ENL social studies classes. The students had the opportunity to get to know one another and play different table games.

Football wins big... East Meadow 45, Hempstead 14: James Galiano threw for one touchdown and rushed for three touchdowns and Eric Garcia returned a 72-yard kick for a touchdown and added a 27-yard receiving touchdown to lead visitor East Meadow (3-2) in Nassau I. Isaiah Perkins had one interception and Yannis Kakavas had two fumble recoveries.

The girls varsity soccer team got a revenge win against Jericho yesterday, 4-1. Sophomore Cameron Gilmor scored the first goal of the game to get the Jets rolling! Shortly after Charli Tesoriere, Rachel Nasshorn & Siena Reyes all scored a goal to lift the team to victory. Ella Giordano and Zoe Pedicini also recorded an assist each. The Jets will have their last conference home game next Wednesday against Hewlett at 5 PM, come and support!

The girls varsity soccer team beat Hicksville 5-0 with a buzzer beater goal by Rachel Nasshorn. Charli Tesoriere had 2 goals to lead the Jets and Ella Giordano & Vanessa Tomack also had a goal each. The Jets play at home next Tuesday vs Jericho, come and support!

In a thrilling showdown, East Meadow men's varsity soccer edged out the Mepham Pirates with a 4-3 victory. Dylan Wauchope led the charge with two goals and an assist, while Andrew Velasquez contributed a goal and an assist of his own. Matthew Rivas also found the back of the net for East Meadow. Jayden Cohen stood strong in goal, making five key saves to help secure the win. The game was a tight battle from start to finish, showcasing East Meadow's resilience and teamwork.

This past Saturday, the boys JV football team defeated Herricks by a score of 39-12. The offense led by Kyle Francis, Josh Perez, Michael Walsh and the offensive line rushed for over 250 yards and 5 touchdowns. The defense led by interceptions from Josh Perez and Nick Greco helped secure the Jets victory. The Jets head to Massapequa this Saturday at 9:15am. Come support your JETS!

Congratulations to our Varsity Football Team for winning their game Saturday against Herricks 13-7. James Galiano ran for 191 yards and a touchdown. The defense was led by Ryan Michel, Will Cassius, Izaiah Richards and Isaiah Perkins. The team is now 2-1 and will take on Massapequa this Saturday.

Congratulations to the JV field hockey team on a competitive win against Seaford. The girls were down 1-0 in the first quarter but that didn't stop them from making a comeback and scoring two goals to make it 2-1. Goals scored by Samantha Platkin with an assist by Sakeena Raza. The other goal was scored by Addison Finn. Ariana Rosa had 3 outstanding saves for the Jets. Great job by all. Wish us luck today as we head to Baldwin High School for another competitive game!!!
